Position Summary
The primary function of the Senior Analyst - Internal Controls will be to bring enhanced visibility by connecting tools and providing information for our team to help us better manage our supplier's performance and operation with data-driven insights. This includes the collection and input of shipment data, tracking and tracing, inputting changes and updates, communicating with internal customers and strategic partners, and maintaining a thorough knowledge of our tools. The role supports and manages the logistics execution supplier performance and onboarding, network design, external balanced scorecard accuracy, controls governance, creates action plans for improvement, and ensures that logistics and supply chain strategy is executed with tactical and strategic detail and acumen.
The Senior Analyst - Internal Controls will be a key player within the Logistics Network Design & Optimization (NDO) team, which is accountable for the development and on-going optimization of all components of the CBI Logistics network, as well as all commercial relationships with the logistics service providers. The NDO establishes the annual capacity and modality plan to deliver the efficient flow of materials between suppliers, the breweries, and the MLM, Replenishment, Warehousing, and Fulfillment teams to ensure the accurate delivery of finished goods. This team promotes continuous improvement and generates network productivity while maintaining best in class service. Additionally, the NDO is expected to contribute to on-going development of Logistics systems and business intelligence capabilities and actively identify and develop talent to ensure long-term resiliency and success of the group.
In additional to being a critical function to support the NDO strategy, it also plays a role within the broader logistics digital transformation initiative. This role will work with the Digital Business Acceleration (DBA) teams in an Agile pod, working with engineering and digital team members to deliver on crucial use case deliverables to support end to end supply chain digitalization.
Responsibilities
- Be the business subject matter expert within the Logistics DBA pod to build, collaborate and drive system design, baseline validation, tools, adoption plan and continuous improvement efforts to support network design and continuous improvements.
- Partner closely with the Product Owner, logistics ops team, and business stakeholders to ensure OKRS are aligned to broader business efforts and facilitate a continuous feedback loop to drive transparency and iteration.
- Be a change agent and liaison to influence new ways of thinking and working across teams.
- Responsible for supporting and managing the new warehouse set up process and cross-functional team deliverables
- Support all logistics supplier onboarding, risk management audits through Graphite, support segmentation evolution,
- Responsible for contract life cycle management and governance across all logistics suppliers.
- Drive efficiencies and cost savings utilizing current ways of working across systems and teams. This can include how we monitor rail and truck data, inbound shipments, appointment management system at brewery yards, tracking carrier performance, KPI's, delivery metrics and accessorial charges, DC network analytics, RFP support, and carrier management process and set up automation and governance.
- Create a process to drive transparency and propose/collaborate on solutions around areas of optimization with stakeholders and pod members.
- Create and support dashboards in business intelligence platforms to provide insights into logistics operations.
- Support process mapping of system touch points.
- Translate enhanced logistics KPI's to a standardized (TBA) "Total Beverage Alcohol" automated scorecarding across truck, warehousing, rail, etc.
- Troubleshoot any issues with data flow across systems and coordinate action plans with technical teams.
- Support automated (and manual data) build out of all Power BI scorecards.
- Utilize insights from platform data to incorporate dwell and transit time data to the brewery team scorecards.
- Drive optimization in ways of working to target cost savings and efficiencies between system platforms (SAP, TMS, WMS) and distribution activities. This can include how we monitor rail and truck data, inbound shipments, appointment management system at brewery yards and distributors, tracking carrier performance, KPI's, delivery metrics and accessorial charges, shipment visibility, quality process enhancements, inventory management optimization, cost/benefit tracking.
- Create a process to drive transparency and propose/collaborate on solutions around areas of optimization with stakeholders and pod members.
Reporting Relationship
- Expected to present regularly to Director and VP Levels
- Reports to Director, Logistics Network Design & Optimization or Logistics Supplier Development Manager.
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor's degree with SCM focus preferred, or two years of equivalent work experience is required.
- Knowledge of Logistics and modal distribution networks (truckload, rail, and warehousing) is required.
- 4+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related field
- Proficiency in business intelligence platforms (Power BI/ Tableau) required.
- Proficiency within the Microsoft Suite (particularly Excel) is required.
- Experience with logistics software systems such as: SAP (or similar), TMS, YMS, Shipment Visibility, Supplier mgmt. and risk mgmt, contract lifecycle management tools. Supply Chain End2End Digital Experience preferred.
- Spanish language skills are preferred.
- Must be willing and able to learn and acquire new skills and abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate change management with colleagues and key internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiating skills, is perceptive and adaptable
- Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization and with suppliers to solve problems when facing evolving demands
- Champions best practice processes, tools, and customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate change management with colleagues and key internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working with development team preferred
- Experience working in Agile framework preferred
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be able to travel as needed by plane, train or car for long distance
- Must be able to work in a professional corporate office environment
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, and work on a computer and/or phone calls for extended periods
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Up to 20% travel required

The salary range for this role is:
$80,400.00 - $120,600.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
