The Senior Manager, Market Execution is responsible for the day-to-day management of the on-premise execution team in the assigned geographic business unit they support. This leader is 100% focused against driving execution of our on-premise annual business plans and key sales priorities at the local market level, in collaboration with internal geographic business unit teams, on-premise national & key account colleagues, cross-functional partners, Gold Network distributors, and key retailer stakeholders. A primary focus of this role is increasing the availability and distribution of Constellation's brands in both package and draft format across all segments of the on-premise. Additional emphasis will be placed on driving best in class local market execution against national account programs, developing and executing growth plans with regional accounts/buying groups, executing key sales priorities across local independent accounts, and supporting the overall market development of the on-premise channel. As the primary retail-facing team supporting the development of the on-premise channel, this leader must build high-quality business relationships with the internal sales teams they support, key retail accounts, and influential distributor personnel that support the on-premise channel. Additionally, this individual will create and lead high quality consumer engagement and experiences for our brands by delivering best in class retail programming within targeted on-premise accounts.
This individual will report directly to the Regional Development On-Premise Market Execution Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the staffing, management, and development of the on-premise execution team across assigned territory.
- Develops and executes performance measures for their local on-premise execution team including planning and assigning work/responsibilities, developing goals/objectives, and managing overall performance.
- Works in conjunction with internal geographic business unit teams, VP, On-Premise Market Execution, draft development team, national & key account team, and other cross functional partners on the development and execution of on-premise business plans and strategic growth initiatives locally across geographies.
- Responsible for the execution of overarching on-premise strategies and key sales priorities at the local market level. This includes: strategic account development plans, national and regional account integration, distributor engagement initiatives, special event support, and comprehensive strategies in partnership with Constellation distributor management teams to further drive retail execution across the on-premise channel.
- Reports local market activity, insights, and key business updates to VP, On-Premise Market Execution and key stakeholders of the local sales leadership team on a regular basis.
- Identify market specific business development opportunities to grow Constellation share of the on-premise channel across assigned area of responsibility.
- 100% focused against driving execution of our on-premise annual business plans and key sales priorities at the local market level. Primary emphasis will be placed on increasing the availability and distribution of Constellation's brands in both package and draft format across all segments of the on-premise, executing draft acceleration plans, and leveraging category development initiatives that drive best in class retail execution with Hispanic and General Market consumers.
- Manage best in class retail execution across the on-premise ensuring local plans and programs align with our overarching on-premise sales priorities and growth strategies.
- Develop, leverage, and implement superior sales support tools, processes, accountability oversight, and programs that drive executional excellence across local markets. Ensure execution of all available tools and resources across area of responsibility.
- Evaluates results vs. plan on a regular basis, identifies sales deficiency areas, and develops corrective programming to improve performance and deliver plan.
- Executes new product/packaging rollout plans across for the on-premise channel across assigned area of responsibility. Works in partnership with the broader sales team to build plans that identify target package/brand opportunities, target account lists, and resource allocation needed to achieve goals.
- Manage the sales budgeting process for direct area of responsibility to ensure proper allocation and deployment of organizational resources across the on-premise execution team.
- Develops, oversees, and manages Constellation Beers' Tactical Funds (CTF) and T&E expense budgets of all direct reports.
- Manages team's use of Travel and Expense budgets to maximize their use.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience in the CPG business.
- 12+ years sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry with a minimum of 3 years' experience supporting on-premise sales and retail chain management customers.
- 5+ years sales management experience with a deep understanding of the on-premise business. Requires experience in field sales, supplier, distributor, sales planning, or sales management.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills to lead and mentor a team.
- Must be able to manage a diverse team across multiple geographies.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to successfully work and achieve goals with a minimum amount of direction. Must possess strong planning and prioritization skills to help manage business priorities across a range of projects.
- Requires excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong relationships, initiate action, and adjust to change are key attributes of this role. Effective communication skills and ability to influence at all levels, internal or external to the company.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals with minimum of direction.
- Must have excellent quantitative and analytical skills (i.e. margin analyses, budget management analysis, synthesizing data from multiple sources, etc.).
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to apply advanced project management skills along with the ability to make decisions independently utilizing strategic thinking.
- Computer literate with the ability to skillfully use software applications including Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel.
- Ability to travel 30-40% of the time, including up to 5 hrs. driving time.

- Must be able to move up to 55 lbs
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time.
- Primary work environment is a professional corporate office and in trade.
- Must have a valid driver's license, be able to drive a car and travel via plane/train as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years or age.

The salary range for this role is:
$108,600.00 - $176,100.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
