Position Summary

The Senior BI Analyst, Finance Analytics position requires a creative problem solver to develop automated solutions for a global organization. This employee will help implement data-driven strategy through rigorous data management and data governance and generate high-quality insights and impact business priorities/decisions. This employee will help design and execute the Finance's data strategy, supporting a standardized Finance reporting environment and maintaining self-service reporting and analysis capabilities for the CBI business. Furthermore, this employee will be key resource for analytics and will need to deeply understand and shape relevant business requirements. This is an opportunity to leverage skills in data analysis, visualization, and engineering to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior BI Analyst is responsible for delivering analytics solutions and ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction
  • The Senior BI Analyst is expected to be adept at recognizing, subscribing and applying best practices, methodologies, tools and techniques to meet stakeholder requirements and timelines
  • Developing and delivering high quality and insightful data visualizations and translating complex data into actionable insights
  • Strategically provides project oversight and guidance on large scale data-related or data-intensive initiatives
  • Translating user requirements into data flows, data mapping, data storytelling, etc.
  • Extensive quantitative and qualitative analysis skills; ability to take large volumes of complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner; uses data and a cogent problem-solving methodology in decision making and impact assessment
  • Problem solving skills in a complex environment that demonstrate logical and sophisticated analytical thought processes, interpretive thinking, complex judgement
  • Creating and delivering technical and project documentation as required using Jira, Confluence, Git, etc.
  • Coordinate across the finance organization and trouble-shoot and remediate where necessary
  • Actively support the coordination with FP&A and provide data analytics support for financial planning and analysis

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ developing business intelligence reporting solutions
  • 2+ years of experience applying data analytical techniques within an organization
  • 2+ years automating data processes, developing dashboards, and building scalable analytics solutions (Power BI strongly preferred)
  • Strong-to-expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business analytics, data science, or statistics or similarly related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Power BI, Tableau, Microstrategy, or equivalent
    • Power BI Requirements: Understanding of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling as well as understanding of workspaces, deployment pipelines, parameters, and deployment rules, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing data architecture, including overall ETL processes and architecture design
  • Experience with Snowflake or other relational database experience
  • Experience with SQL
  • Thorough understanding of Financial indicators and P&L statement
  • Knowledge of the supplier, distributor and retail environments, Constellation Brands product portfolio and operations preferred
  • Experience with analyzing and interpreting data from syndicated sources such as Circana or Nielsen preferred
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and willing to take initiative to complete tasks with little direction
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple activities with excellent time management and project planning/prioritization
  • Strategic and analytical thinker, with the ability to consider the details and interpret the impact of key business drivers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences and producing high-quality deliverables to drive business decisions
  • Team player with a proactive, positive attitude and the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively at all levels of the organization

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Must be able sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.

The salary range for this role is:
$79,800.00 - $167,700.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
