Job Description
The Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) intern will partner with leadership across various Finance functions to provide financial insight into business performance, to assist the preparation of key reporting deliverables, and to support the decision-making process for strategic initiatives. Specific areas of contribution include monthly management reporting, forecasting and ad hoc project support.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation, production, and distribution of management reporting to key stakeholders, including senior and executive leadership; reviewing results with business partners to provide variance analysis vs. annual plan, prior year results, and street expectations
- Support month-end close activities through close collaboration with Corporate SG&A business partners to ensure accuracy of financial reporting and proactively identify areas of opportunity and risk
- Further team's data visualization and dashboarding efforts around monthly reporting, enabling senior leadership to understand the financial status of their organization efficiently
- Contribute toward continuous improvement efforts related to monthly reporting deliverables and processes; specifically, Peer Analytics Build-out and other EMC deck enhancements
- Analyze business cases, develop financial models, and run scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives and decision-making
- Actively participate in internship events and the associated ALP project

Qualifications
- Undergraduate major in Finance, Business or Accounting (preference: candidate completed 2-3 years of undergraduate studies)
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability
- Highly motivated, change-oriented and able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
- Accurate and detail oriented

The salary range for this role is:
$19.00- $29.50 an hour
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
