Position Summary

Constellation Brands, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Manager of Operations to join our innovative Wine and Spirits Brand Experience team. This role is perfect for a creative individual with exceptional project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Brand Experience Operations Manager and collaborating closely with marketing peers, you will be a pivotal member of the team, owning the end-to-end POS production process. Your work will result in eye-catching retail displays, print signage, and branded merchandise that our sales team will execute flawlessly.

This position is ideal for someone who embodies both artistic flair and engineering precision. You should be comfortable with proofing print artwork, documenting specifications in project management tools, and managing our production vendors to ensure timely delivery. You must possess exceptional organizational skills, be an excellent communicator, adept at multitasking, and passionate about the wine and spirits industry.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a functional expert and project manager on POS display and print projects, keeping the team updated on project status, deliverables, due dates, and risks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to coordinate with our vendor partners, overseeing vendor selection, proofing/prototyping, design improvements, price negotiation, maintaining specifications, and ensuring timeline adherence.
  • Collaborate closely with peer stakeholders and outside creative agencies to ensure art concepts translate effectively to production output.
  • Owns documenting all specifications in project management tools, and in securing sample and proof approvals across multiple teams.
  • Partner with fulfillment vendors to ensure timely delivery of inbound and outbound inventory, resolving any conformance issues with originating vendors.
  • Implement process improvements and execute cost and time-saving initiatives through peer training, acting as an in-house expert, and challenging vendors on cost-saving measures.
  • Responsible for creating vendor POs through the SAP Ariba system and preparing necessary reports.
  • Engage in supporting other marketing activations or new business development projects as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with other functional areas to recommend and implement solutions to potential issues and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Organizational Skills: Expert project manager with meticulous attention to detail, capable of juggling competing priorities to meet deadlines and deliver quality results.
  • Technical Proficiency: Technologically adept with business productivity tools, including Microsoft Office. Comfortable summarizing large datasets in Excel, building compelling PPT presentations, and quickly learning new software. Prior experience with Project Management tools (e.g. Asana) is strongly preferred.
  • Communication: Self-driven with the ability to expertly communicate creative ideas, hold others accountable to deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a decentralized team environment.
  • Attention to Detail: An eye for detail, style, and composition, with the ability to visualize completed projects based on schematics and renders.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-Driven: Possess a tenacious work ethic with the drive, resolve, and urgency to do "whatever it takes" to accomplish specific goals.
  • Industry Passion: Demonstrates a genuine desire and passion for the wine & spirits industry, with strategic and creative thinking, financial orientation, and analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of experience in marketing, procurement, as a buyer, with creative design agencies, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: Beverage Alcohol, CPG, or Retail Merchandising experience is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Experience: Previous experience in contract manufacturing, print/publishing, or in the design and engineering of fixtures and displays.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to manage project costs effectively.

Work Environment

  • Remote position with a preference for candidates based in the San Francisco, CA area to align with the peer team located there.
  • Additional locations include in-office opportunities in Chicago, IL or Canandaigua, NY.
  • Must be flexible in work style and schedule; travel up to 10% as required.

The salary range for this role is:
$78,800.00 - $139,700.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
