Position Summary
The Advanced Mobile Line Machine Operator must be able to perform numerous tasks independently, including setup, operating, adjusting, and maintaining high speed bottling equipment on CBI's Mobile Bottling line. This operator will also perform equipment changeovers and troubleshooting on various machine centers and is responsible for performing all quality inspections and maintenance associated with the mobile bottling line machinery. An Advanced Mobile Line Machine Operator will work in conjunction with CBI Sites Leadership to lead day to day bottling projects at multiple CBI locations. Train bottling operators, winery employees and temporary employees on the proper use of bottling equipment. The position follows standard operating procedures and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. The position will need to travel to CBI locations and stay remotely within California and Oregan during work weeks.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Mobile Bottling Line lead supporting operators on the mobile bottling line setting up, running, trouble shooting, PM's and changing over equipment.
- Efficiently operates, trouble shoots, changes over, and cleans all machine centers (Monobloc Rinser/Filler/Corker, Capsulator, Labeler, and bottle handling conveyers).
- Mentor, motivate, and train assistant operators and temporary employees.
- Safely and efficiently operate all pieces of equipment to meet or exceed established production goals in a cost-effective manner.
- Maintains the mindset that there is always room for improvement, there is always a way to do it better. Identifies opportunities to improve processes. Demonstrates the ability to identify key downtime reasons and solutions to improve efficiency.
- Maintain situational awareness of processes on the line and make suggestions to increase yield and/or improve quality. Implement process improvements on the line and in the department (Continuous Improvement).
- Continually reviews SOPs and works with bottling supervisors to updates and communicate changes.
- Ability to keep work area clean, organized and Food Safety compliant. Responsible for general housekeeping duties and maintaining a sanitary work area.
- Responsible for routine production reporting and quality checks.
- Must be able to consistently perform all in-process and final production quality control and verification checks.
- Responsible for compliance with CBI sustainability policies and practices.
- Demonstrates situational awareness and a sense of urgency on the production floor.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency for Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
- Communicates effectively with team members, leadership and other departments.
- Follows all safety procedures and guidelines. Identifies safety hazards and communicates to team members and leadership.

- Must demonstrate a positive attitude towards the job and the duties assigned and exhibit initiative to continually learn and improve professional skills.
- Maintains job competencies as outlined in provided skill qualification matrix.
- Must maintain professional competency as outlined in qualification matrix for classification.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have strong mechanical skills. May be required to pass a Mechanical Aptitude Test.
- Must have experience with computers, accessing information and data entry.
- Able to perform diverse and complex tasks on highly technical machine centers.
- Complete qualification matrix level Green on all machine centers (follow matrix).
- Able to work various shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic Math skills that require EE to calculate case cuts and material run outs.
- Basic Reading and Comprehension skills that require EE to follow Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Policies
- Basic writing skills that are required to complete quality checks and HACCP operations.
- Must be a critical thinker with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment operations.

The salary range for this role is:
$27.92 - $43.67
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
