A role you will love
We are looking to redesign our main corporate website, www.computershare.com. The site spans multiple countries with a variety of languages. Our website is used by our clients, their customers, shareholders and others to access our transactional sites and services, research new product and solution offerings, obtain corporate/company information, and research career opportunities.
As a Digital Content Writer, you will support the launch of our new website by helping develop content that shares our story and vision, promotes our brand, and drives engagement through effective product and persona-driven marketing. You will collaborate with marketing, product and design teams to create engaging content and clearly crafted messages that deliver meaningful customer experiences.
The position requires a hands-on, collaborative, flexible approach with the ability to oversee and execute multiple projects simultaneously while driving aggressive deadlines. The role is best suited for a high-achiever with proven ability to contribute individually (through hands-on execution) as well as part of a results-focused global team.
Primary Accountabilities
- Use audience insights, personas, keyword research, messaging themes, competitive information, and SEO best practices to produce content for the web
- Collaborate with product marketing teams to translate technical features into customer benefits
- Edit draft content to ensure consistent voice, grammar and style
- Update existing web content and translate to a new site structure and wireframes
What will you bring to the role?
The Digital Content Writer role holder is an individual contributor managing content development involving multiple stakeholders and geographies.
This role will operate within the Global Marketing Shared Services team responsible for activity across Computershare.
The Digital Content Writer will partner with Portfolio marketing to develop content and work closely with the Web and Digital team to write, analyze and update content for maximum impact on our new website.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- 4-6 years proven experience in brand writing, content creation and product marketing for the web required.
- Experience in financial services marketing and communications required.
- Ability to develop content for use on the corporate website for all market segments and business units and will have the ability to provide support in the form of custom content.
- Knowledge of content creation with a strong understanding of SEO best practices and crafting content for the web.
- A high energy and collaborative individual contributor, capable of working independently handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision.
- Ability to forge strong relationships with stakeholders across various business functions. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with external agencies and freelancers when needed and the following internal relationships:
