Join our dynamic team as a Test Analyst! Here, you'll be part of a supportive and close-knit team, where collaboration and innovation thrive. You will report directly to the Test Manager and play a crucial role in delivering a significant end-to-end project that makes an impact.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and documenting comprehensive testing plans, test cases and test data
- Conduct hands on software test execution and work towards completion of testing within the agreed timelines of the planned cycles
- Manage defects including logging new defects, proactively working with others to resolve the defects. and updating defect status for accurate progress reporting
- Deliver testing efforts within forecasted estimates and communicate any risks early
- Ensure client satisfaction through quality testing
What will you bring to the role?
You will possess the ability to quickly learn and take on new processes, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Customer Service and Customer Operations utilities functions with a strong understanding of customer life cycles
- Strong level of familiarisation with utilities billing systems
- Previous exposure to a testing phase in the release of a new system change and/or new system
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in writing and verbally
Desired qualifications and skills:
- ISTOQB accreditation
- Any form of software testing working experience
- Excellent ability to analyse software requirements and design specifications
- Ability to design test cases for functional, integration and interface testing
- Extensive knowledge of utilities business processes, business rules and market transactions
- Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data, and present it in accessible formats
- Experience with Testing tools such as Jira and TFS
- Ability to successfully resolve issues and get results with minimal supervision
