A role you will love
We are looking for an experienced Customer Service professional to take on a Team Leader role at our customer call centre in Melbourne. As part of a small team, you will be the first point of contact for customers who phone or email with queries. Your main responsibility will be to ensure excellent customer service is provided by coaching and supporting your colleagues.
Some of your key responsibilities may include:
- Leading a dynamic team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment
- Managing the day-to-day planning, control, and direction of activities for the team
- Driving positive change and continuous improvement
- Inspiring and creating enthusiasm, energy and cooperation in others to achieve work objectives
- Coaching and encouraging staff to perform at their optimal level
- Overseeing team performance, reporting and monitoring quality of outputs to ensure services are at optimum levels.
- Client liaison related to operational performance, changes, and risks.
- Driving customer satisfaction through provision of quality service to our internal and external clients.
What will you bring to the role?
• Proven experience leading a team of customer service officers responsible for providing service and advice to customer accounts.
• Demonstrated achievement in successfully leading customer service teams - building capability; meeting performance goals; and always fostering, and maintaining, a customer focused work culture.
• Exceptional organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform, and always work with a customer focused approach.
• Excellent analysis, verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence to deliver feedback and motivate colleagues
• Well-developed time management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and an underlying commitment to delivering quality outcomes
