The EPM Lead Architect will be a member of the Global Finance Systems team which maintains and supports financial systems within the Computershare Group of Companies. The objective is to provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions and user support that comply with group technology and finance standards. In addition, the team is responsible for supporting operational issues, including troubleshooting, investigating and solving issues related to financial transactions and information.

The EPM Lead Architect is responsible for ongoing operational stability as well as influencing and guiding the strategic direction for the Oracle EPM suite of tools deployed at Computershare. Leading a team of experts in various areas and responsible of goal setting, leading high performing and highly skilled teams.
The role ensures efficiency of EPM operations, with a focus on streamlining, simplifying, and leveraging Oracle technology for greatest utility across the entire EPM landscape, while also addressing evolving regulatory and reporting requirements that may exist globally. The role oversees service and quality assurance, with responsibility for developing, implementing, monitoring and addressing Oracle Functional configuration and solutioning of business requirements across the Oracle EPM module range.
The Oracle EPM Lead Architect will lead Oracle EPM solutions through a path to stabilization. Some aspects of the deployment will require differing forms of remediation which may require the incumbent to manage the team through a full project cycle - requirements and design gathering, development, testing, training, implementation, hyper care and transition to ongoing BAU support. The EPM Lead is responsible for ensuring the team can deliver support services, manage interfaces and ensure integrations are running as per schedule. In addition, the role provides support and insight to senior management on the future strategic direction for the EPM implementation and suite of tools.
The role will need to understand the fundamentals of all aspects of complex multi-currency, multi-company accounting systems and maintain a high level of ERP/HCM applications functional knowledge (especially in the areas of GL, FA and ERP to HCM master data dependencies) as well as strong Techno-Functional knowledge in all aspects of Oracles EPM technology.
Key accountabilities:
• As a senior member of the Finance Systems team, is responsible for influencing, guiding and educating the organisation (working closely with the Global Process owner) on the subject matter in the EPM modules.
• Design and deliver Oracle EPM Cloud functional architecture strategy with leading practices throughout all phases of Computershare's EPM Cloud Transformation
• Engage and guide stakeholders through the process to ensure the appropriate strategic direction is well understood and documented. Provides expert financial analysis and recommendations to senior management on business decisions related to EPM, and the strategic direction as required.
• Lead develop and motivate a team of functional & technical specialists
• Aligns priorities and resources (short-term and long-term) and contributes to multi-year planning of EPM projects and strategic initiatives
• Ensure processes, procedures, and appropriate resources are in place and tested to ensure services are delivered to agreed service levels.
• Ensure appropriate resources are in place to implement, configure and support applications during the hours required by the business, ensuring application availability, performance, reliability, maintainability, serviceability and capacity are provided in line with agreed service level agreements.
• Ensure all support requests are logged, tracked and managed within service-level agreements to closure.
• Ensure team undertake proactive troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues implementing preventative measures as appropriate.
• Support the planning and delivery of patches, maintenance releases and all major product enhancement releases to applications and integration components.
• Reviews and approves Change Requests with impact in the EPM space.
• Provide leadership and support to testing activities (e.g. System, Integration and User Acceptance)
• Support ad-hoc projects, e.g. acquisition/ divestment/ joint venture-related activities.
• Supports and is knowledgeable on all interfaces and integrations as they relate to EPM working closely with global technology teams.
• Maintain, support and provide guidance to peers on complex application configuration activities.
• Ensure the creation, review and ongoing update of Finance Systems Playbook so that support can be efficiently performed, and the impact of future change requests can be assessed.
• Maintain and support system security administration, i.e. access rights.
• Ensure data integrity, internal controls and audit trails are maintained throughout all applications.
• Ensure a high level of customer service focus and responsiveness to ensure delivery per service level agreements.
• Work closely with onshore and offshore teams within global technology teams.
• Identify opportunities to enhance technical support tools to drive service improvement

Essential:
• Must have relevant tertiary education in an I.T. or Finance or related discipline
• Accredited with Oracle Certified Professional or similar
• Minimum 8-10 years of working experience with Oracle EPM technology (preferably in a hands-on technical capacity)
• Exposure to Oracle Fusion cloud implementations in the context of how they relate to EPM.
Preferred:
• Understanding Oracle applications and architecture would be highly regarded, but exposure to other financial system applications would be considered.
• Ideally, would have a degree in accounting or a recognised professional accounting qualification and a qualification in an I.T.-related discipline. Substantial experience in related areas would be considered in the absence of formal qualifications.
• Experience in COBIT or ITIL best practices.
• Experience in working within an Agile environment.
