A role you will love

As one of our Senior Solutions Architects, you will work with the Head of Architecture providing architectural direction to teams and implementing architectural strategy. You will also work closely with our other solution and application architects, development and test teams, infrastructure providers, enterprise architects and subject matter experts.

You will provide technical and architectural guidance, supporting the up-lift of design capabilities in the development team through education and mentoring.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Challenging existing designs and architectures with a view to moving the business capability forwards.
  • Understanding organisational objectives and external drivers, for example, legislation or financial constraints.
  • Working with others to develop business and technical strategies.
  • Building excellent relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple business or technical areas in the organisation.
  • Providing solution design and architecture delivery.

What will you bring to the role?

As you've probably gathered by now, we are looking for somebody with a real passion for Architecture & Technology and will have the ability provide excellent architectural direction to our teams.

With this role being a key part of our Architecture team, you will be experienced in managing and building excellent stakeholder relationships with people at all levels.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • Significant experience in a Solutions Architect role.
  • Expert experience in API-based design and implementation of a diverse range of API driven solutions.
  • Demonstratable experience in leading the design and architecture of a large technology programme or complex project.
  • Excellent knowledge & experience in using TOGAF.
  • Experience in Cloud Technologies (Azure).
