This is a hybrid position primarily based in Canton, MA. Computershare Fund Services (CFS) is the division within Issuer Services responsible for providing proxy services and compliance mailings to Mutual Funds, Closed End Funds, ETFs and Variable Annuity clients.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer for Computershare Fund Services (CFS), the Sr Sales Representative role operates at a local level within this division and works closely with the Client Services team and other Sales members. This person will work collaboratively across internal groups when assigned clients/prospects that use other CPU products or CFS insources services to CPU affiliates.

A role you will love

The Sr Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of products and services for an assigned group of client accounts. Driving sales opportunities for proxy campaigns of Open and Closed-End Mutual Funds, ETFs, REITs, and organizational M&A/Change in Control transactions. Steady involvement in analysis, strategy, business and regulatory requirements, financials, and contractual agreements is a must.

As well, this role has primary ownership for building relationships with clients/prospects, and fostering existing relationships, especially during periods when there are no active bids or proxy events.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Sales ownership/relationship management to deliver against business unit strategic and financial objectives.
  • Travel expected 30%
  • Develop stronger and new relationships with Tier 2 and Tier3 clients and prospects.
  • Actively assist Sales peers to attain their individual goals.
  • Preparation and delivery of RFPs and client/prospect presentations to key decision makers.
  • In conjunction with Strategy Team, define client requirements and delivery of a comprehensive and competitive solution and estimate of associated costs.
  • Understanding on contract status for existing agreements and proactivity prepare for renewals and or Amendments as appropriate, in conjunction with Legal Business partner.
  • Responsible for communication and coordination of InfoSec reviews and inquiries.
  • Participation/networking at key industry sponsored events to maintain existing relationships and drive new business.
  • Drive Sales and Marketing initiatives to completion to retain competitiveness.

What will you bring to the role?

Required:

BA degree with 8-10 years experience, preferably in Sales or another capacity within the Funds industry.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong analytical skills.

Proficiency with Excel, word and Powerpoint tools.

Attention to detail, demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.

Preferred:

Experience with Proxy Services.

Mutual Fund Operations/Transfer Agency Services.
