Some key responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and deploying the software across our environments.
  • Managing build and deployment platforms to help drive towards continuous delivery.
  • Helping form practices and strategies to support our goals.
  • Managing appropriate Windows Server Environments, Cloud platforms, SSL Certificates, Citrix NetScaler Configuration, Container platforms, as well as the delivery of internal projects.
  • Contributing to the technology stack by enhancing existing processes, with a focus on automation.
  • Contributing to the production of high quality, relevant documentation including process documents, knowledge base articles, cheat sheets, and other technical reference materials.

What will you bring to the role?

You will demonstrate previous experience as a Platform Engineer and a clear passion for working with Cloud technologies.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • Solid, proven technical understanding of core Cloud, Container and virtualisation concepts.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data, and present it in accessible formats.
  • Strong customer facing and communication skills - written and verbal, with a high attention to detail.
  • Enterprise level application hosting experience.
  • Business analysis, release management, and service delivery experience.
  • Experience setting up large and highly resilient infrastructure configurations across multiple datacentres.
