You can expect to join our small and very supportive Jersey operations team, supporting our Employee Share Plans business. Our Jersey office is based in the heart of St Helier, is newly refurbished and has a fantastic roof terrace.

This role is open to anyone with some administration experience, career changers or school leavers looking to kick-start their career in finance, and we can adapt our learning and development programme around you! Salary for the senior role is dependent on you evidencing some initial working or life experience that you can offer.

You must have 5 years' residency or the equivalent right to work in Jersey to be considered for the role.

A role you will love

The Senior Operations Administrator role will involve undertaking a range of process driven administrative tasks for a variety of employee share plans we offer to our clients together with providing day to day support to the wider team. The workload will be varied with agreed turnaround times which will allow for a premier service to be achieved, adopting a right first-time approach.

What key accountabilities you will have in the role?

  • Meet personal objectives in terms of productivity and quality of service when undertaking Trust administration tasks
  • Identify efficiencies in processes and minimise risk by ensuring records are accurate and updated in a timely manner
  • Respond quickly and accurately to both written and telephone queries from clients and colleagues
  • Maintain personal time keeping
  • Adhere to agreed service levels and wherever possible, exceed client's expectations
  • Demonstrate an awareness of the reason why the client has an offshore structure and apply that knowledge to day to day administration tasks.
  • In addition to the duties listed above, the Team Manager may request any other ad hoc duties or projects.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Sound computer skills and able to adapt to and apply new technologies
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Willingness and desire to achieve personal goals and team goals
  • A minimum of grade C or 4 and above at GCSE level English and Maths, or equivalent qualification
  • Willingness to study towards a professional qualification recognised by JFSC as Table 5 or above in future is preferable
  • Good interpersonal skills and confidence
  • Good time management
