Reporting into the Client Relationship Director, this role requires effective leadership of the Client Management team, able to build and maintain key relationships across your team's portfolio, whilst ensuring client retention and development.
Your required to ensure 100% contractual security and profitability, management of risk and maximising commercial opportunities from existing clients, across all business lines. As well as new client opportunities through supporting the business development team and your external networks.
Key roles and responsibilities, include, but are not limited to;
• Ensure you and your team build and maintain proactive and positive relationships with clients, managing portfolios effectively and efficiently, building client trust in our capability to deliver, ensuring client retention and contractual certainty
• Lead the strategic direction of your team, taking responsibility for personal development, staff management, coaching and team performance against Objectives; support and collaborate effectively with your Client Relationship Director and senior management throughout the business
• Ensure all client events are properly managed and any issues which arise are swiftly and effectively resolved and steps taken to avoid a repeat
• Design, develop and deliver professional presentations both internally and externally
• Support your team to ensure the robustness of core governance, core business systems and procedures to maintain compliance and meet regulatory responsibilities, ensuring processes and procedures are reviewed and updated.
• Identify and mitigate risks. Keeping all stakeholders updated.
• Participate proactively in the Senior Client Management meetings, managing the communication process and changes to procedures within your team
• Actively identify opportunities for efficiencies, solutions and synergies within the group and wider business and raise via the appropriate channels to ensure wider team aware
• Support the Business Development team with new business opportunities and proactively seek out opportunities for new business from within your external network
• Demonstrate advanced commercial expertise in relation to your Cost Centre P&L, and participate in the budget and forecast process
What will you bring to the role?
We're looking for a solid 'all round' team manager that holds previous experience of managing and leading a successful team with excellent client management experience specifically from a financial services background.
You'll be a self-starter, who can work with minimal direction with a proactive & resilient approach, able to deliver under pressure. Forward planning, balancing priorities, and co-ordinating multiple tasks whilst being able to be flexible across requirements to ensure priorities and SLA's are met.
Strong interpersonal, presentation & literacy skills will allow you to successfully communicate across all levels of the business, whilst holding compelling influencing and negotiation skills, paired with strong stakeholder engagement, to ensure successful client relationships.
Other key requirements:
• Advanced Commercial views on contracts/requests of clients re services
• Ability to identify and solve problems
• Registry experience (products and regulatory) desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of cross-border solutions and international markets, desirable but not essential
