Location: Melbourne - Yarra Falls

In this position, you'll be based in Melbourne, Yarra Falls office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. This role has in-office operational requirements and so we're unable to consider employees who wish to continue an existing, fully remote working arrangement.

A role you will love

The Global Planning & Delivery Team sit within Computershare Technology Services. You will lead your projects through the project lifecycle associated with your Infrastructure deliverables to ensure a positive outcome.

In this role, you will be running multiple projects concurrently meaning you will need good time management. Having full control over managing your teams as well as your own time will give you the opportunity to work effectively alongside several business units in a global structure.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver Infrastructure Projects, typically in a complex, multi-platform technical environment
  • Work with stakeholders and GP&D management to define project scope, initiate, plan, and manage Projects through to completion
  • Work with GP&D management to assign infrastructure resources and budgets
  • Assess, report, and manage risk and security implications for the transformation
  • Manage and track project team progress and financials against the plan
  • Collate support / warranty documentation ready to handover to Support Team

What will you bring to the role?

We want someone who can manage time and resources in an effective manner in order to operate well in a global team.

You will communicate and deliver infrastructure projects effectively as well as being adaptable to the needs of all business units globally.

Here are the key skills we are looking for:

  • Significant Project Management experience delivering projects within the Infrastructure and Cloud domain
  • Demonstrated experience with planning, managing, and tracking multiple complex and major impact projects
  • Excellent communication to converse with both technical and non-technical people across the business
  • High level understanding of networking design (LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Load balancing, VPN)
  • In-depth experience with Cloud & IT Infrastructure
  • Experience using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodology
