JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Melbourne - Yarra Falls
In this position, you'll be based in Melbourne, Yarra Falls office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. This role has in-office operational requirements and so we're unable to consider employees who wish to continue an existing, fully remote working arrangement.

The Senior Account Director will be a point of escalation for the team and is involved in development of strategic client pursuits.
A role you will love
As the Senior Account Director of Georgeson, you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director, Georgeson ANZ and you will be responsible for overseeing the growth, engagement and management of key strategic client relationships and/or services.
Some other key responsibilities:
- Ensure that service outcomes are met 100% of the time. The primary aim is to achieve service excellence to support and enhance the pursuit of winning new and ongoing business for Georgeson and Computershare
- Deliver continual strong leadership within the business and where required across the rest of Operations and Computershare
- Interact frequently with external parties such as clients, investment bankers, lawyers, brokers etc as well as with other parts of the Computershare business
- proactively contribute and promote a positive working environment of achievement, excellence, accountability, support, and a harmonious working culture
- Provide expert strategic counsel to clients, offering guidance on large-scale or complex projects to drive business success and strengthen client relationships
- Oversee the allocation and coordination of projects within the team, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of high-quality outcomes
- Act as a key point of escalation for both clients and internal teams, offering valuable insights and solutions to technical, client, and operational challenges
What will you bring to the role?
You will have great ability to solve practical problems and work with a variety of variables as well as form strong relationships with internal and externals stakeholders. You will be expected to come in with an analytical mindset.
You will be required to have a good understanding of financial markets and how your teams and others work together to successfully achieve operational and wider business line goals and objectives.
Some other key skills that you'll have:
- Proficient knowledge and awareness on how to apply defined technical and operational procedures
- Exceptional leadership skills. You will directly manage and provide support and guidance to different levels of the team
- Excellent communication skills to be able to provide clear verbal and written communications to staff, clients, and other senior stakeholders
- Experience in account management in a financial services environment. Experience in shareholder communications services (including proxy solicitation services) will be highly regarded
- Proven ability to engage and consult with a wide range of stakeholders including Directors & C-Suite executives
- Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions industry including contacts within key networks such as investment banks, law firms, public relations and investor relations
