A role you will love
Our Scrum Master is a member of cross-functional scrum teams that develops, delivers, and sustains products across a portfolio of applications. You will work alongside the Global Agile Capability to coach teams in developing their process and culture.
Some key responsibilities:
- Facilitate scrum events to be purposeful, effective and encourage continuous improvement.
- Create a safe environment allowing each team to experiment without fear of failing, and work with the team to inspect and adapt when things don't go to plan.
- As a servant-leader, guide each team towards self-organisation and promote a collaborative culture that embraces problem solving, trust and feedback.
- Work with each team to resolve impediments to team progress, supports the removal of impediments out with the control of the team.
- Knowledge of techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management to support Product Owners
What will you bring to the role?
Our Scrum Master will work alongside product owners and delivery teams, highlighting the need for clear and concise backlog items, and providing input regarding backlog management. The Scrum Masters will also support organisation wide agile initiatives as an active contributor to our Global Agile Community.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Considerable Experience of working as a Scrum Master with cross-functional agile teams.
- In-depth knowledge and application of agile principles (Scrum, Kanban, etc) and practices.
- Proven skills and knowledge of servant leadership, coaching, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, and empowerment.
- Experience of supporting and creating Agile training materials for delivery team as well as the wider organization
- Experience supporting Product Owners with creating, prioritizing and managing backlogs.
