A role you will love
The Quadient Inspire Developer will be a document composition expert, responsible for the design, implementation, delivery and support\maintenance of new and existing Omni-Channel communications solutions. Engaging with clients across a range of industry verticals will be your bread and butter, utilising the Quadient platform and other technologies.
As the Quadient Developer you will be the driver and supporting factor for the full development lifecycle, including testing and UAT\live deployments.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Using Quadient Inspire Designer/Interactive setup for new clients' workflow and instances, editing existing client workflow (in accordance with specifications received from the BA population).
- Supporting Business Analysts in the creation of technical documentation.
- Being the subject matter expertise for solution design, architecture & integration.
- Manipulating data from various sources/formats e.g., flat files, relational databases, non-relational databases, XML, JSON, etc.
- Data processing in creating personalised and customised Omni Channel communications.
What will you bring to the role?
This is a new and really exciting upcoming role in the business, with this comes the need for someone who is able to hit the ground running and display knowledge and experience in the use of Inspire Designer and Interactive.
Another key aspect is proven sound knowledge and background of Inspire scripting, creating and managing templated within Interactive. Confident in creating and managing Interactive approval processes and the ability to read code (Perl, C#, SQL) in order to diagnose problems.
A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or any other IT related field with a focus on software development/support is also highly desirable.
Other key skills will involve:
Required:
- Self-assured in managing complex and relational data structures including; SQL/JSON/CSV/Fixed length data files/XML.
- Understanding of ITIL framework, SDLC and DevOps concepts and methodologies.
Preferred:
- Managing and performance tuning of Quadient Production and Scalar Servers.
- Good working knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Experience with Web technologies or similar (HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Web Services).
- Experience with support / incident management methodologies and associated processes.
- Basic understanding of the fundamentals of financial and water service markets.
- Knowledge of production print and mailing operations and systems.
