This is a hybrid position primarily based in Munich. The Computershare MediaDesign team is a local department within the German Computershare Operation Centre responsible for the creation of shareholder communications (digital and analogue), shareholder communications planning and legal publications.

The Project Manager MediaDesign is expected to work across teams with the Registration Office Team, Registry Team, Front and Middle Office and support project related activities associated with the role. The role of Project Manager MediaDesign is primarily established for the processing of projects in German-speaking countries and is subject to the requirements of the Companies Act (Aktiengesetz) and strict time management in its activities.

The field of activity of the Project Manager MediaDesign includes all operational activities to be carried out in this field while observing deadlines and maintaining a defined production as well as quality standard. The Project Manager MediaDesign must be able to recognise connections in the various processes and flexibly align his activities accordingly. He or she acts as part of the overall project and contributes to the successful completion of the project.

  • drafting, adapting and correcting various shareholder communication documents
  • timely setting of obligatory publications in the Bundesanzeiger (Federal Gazette) and coordination with Bundesanzeiger (Federal Gazette)
  • coordination of mailing projects with CCS in compliance with the defined handling standards
  • coordination between the persons involved in the sense of a result-oriented project handling

What will you bring to the role?

  • You have to be fluent in German as it will be your main communication language
  • Need a strong long-term ability to concentrate and a good understanding of generally applicable standards as well as project-related contexts. Training in Adobe InDesign as well as Adobe Photoshop is advantageous. The procedural and technical knowledge for the role is acquired through training, workshops and on-the-job experience.
  • You must have an understanding of the overall project-related process within the Operation Centre in order to be able to relate their activities to the different stages of project delivery. A high level of teamwork is required. As this is a fundamental role, there must be a high level of understanding of the processes involved
  • You must be able to recognise and, if necessary, escalate problems within the scope of his defined activity. The solution to the problem in terms of content is brought about by consultation within the team (team leader) or, in the case of technical problems, escalated to the responsible office.
  • You have to clearly communicates verbally and/or in writing with other internal departments. The requests received here range from basic to medium complexity.
