A role you will love

The Product Specialist ("Specialist") is responsible for the day-to-day processing and facilitation of jobs through the assigned products and services.

The Specialist will also be responsible for the management and maintenance of the assigned products and processes. They will act as a subject matter expert for process improvement initiatives, directly related to the assigned products, that will drive efficiency and service excellence.

Some of the other key accountabilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities for the assigned product and processes, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that jobs are processed accurately and provided to Operations for execution in accordance with the established business rules and process
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact with internal and external partners, as needed, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
  • Ensure that Client Satisfaction ratings and net promoter score targets are met through timely and accurate execution of jobs.
  • Support the Team Leader in identifying, documenting and facilitating the implementation of process and product improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and Maintain documented procedures related to assigned products and processes
  • Serve as process subject matter expert and representative for the assigned products and processes on projects and initiatives

What will you bring to the role?

As this role sits within one of our client facing departments, a background in administratively supporting client portfolio and building working relationships is key to your success. So being able to work with key internal stakeholders and sometimes clients about our services will be a large part of this role.

Some other key skills that you'll have:

  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent business experience is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate diplomatically with clients, internal business partners, team members and other key stakeholders.
  • Flexibility with proven ability to work in a high pressure, deadline driven environment
  • Self-motivated
  • Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Ability to learn and use multiple software programs and applications.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to new technology
  • Bilingual Preferred (English and French)
