A role you will love

Reporting to the Team Leader, this role consists of operating machinery to achieve on-time delivery of customer orders within strictly measured quality and productivity specifications. Normal operating hours are Monday to Friday from 5:00am to 1:00pm. In addition, some flexibility is required when an occasion arises where an urgent task outside the general nature of the role is required to meet the needs of the Communication Services client.

Some of your main duties will include:

  • Ensure the efficient and timely production of jobs in accordance with the Aardvark schedule.
  • Operate Xerox Nuvera B/W printers and Ricoh production printers.
  • Identify and escalate potential issues to a laser team leader
  • Ensure all associated systems and ISO procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure all procedures are carried out in a safe and healthy manner to provide a safe, accident-free working environment
  • Help out in areas as required

What do you bring to the role?

  • Experience working in a structured production environment
  • Experience in operating printing presses
  • Experience of troubleshooting and rectifying a range of simple issues with press operations
