Reporting to the Special Processing Operations Manager, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of all activities related to special processing within the employee share plan lifecycle. Working within a financial and regulated environment, you'll be instrumental in ensuring all SLAs are met and that the team consistently delivers to both internal and external expectations, maintaining full compliance with regulations and HMRC guidelines. A role you will love
This role offers the opportunity to directly assist the Special Processing Operations Manager in maintaining streamlined operational processes within EquatePlus, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and ensuring robust operational discipline as the function expands. You will be responsible for the structured planning, execution, and monitoring of tasks, ensuring timely completion of all assigned processes in line with agreed SLAs. This includes, but isn't limited to, processing Blackouts, Deceased Cases, SIP Leaver defaults, Leaver reason amendments and corrections, and bespoke manual processes for specific clients. Leveraging your product knowledge and technical expertise, you will collaborate with Relationship Managers and Account Managers to support client engagement. You will also play a key role in developing detailed documentation for all special processing procedures, maintaining operational control and governance. By building and maintaining strong technical expertise, you will provide expert advice to both the wider business and our client base. You will provide regular status updates to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders, and act as the subject matter expert in special processing, resolving complex customer queries and system demands while delivering exceptional customer service.
What will you bring to the role?
Ideally, you will bring evidence of working on or closely with a project focused on radically overhauling processes and operational delivery. A minimum of two years' experience in the financial services industry is required, with one year preferably in a share plans or financial compensation environment, and knowledge of the SAYE product is a plus. You will be passionate about customers, demonstrating a proven ability to champion and maintain strong delivery to a large client and customer base. Experience handling significant transactional volume in an operational context, preferably within a complex regulatory environment, is essential. You will possess strong personal and operational organizational skills, capable of managing multiple complex activities simultaneously, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively conveying ideas to diverse audiences.
