Plans Specialist - Global Custody

Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

The Global Custody Specialist serves as a key brand representative for Computershare, handling service requests through multiple channels from Computershare's corporate clients or their individual account holders. Concentrating on clients transitioned to EquatePlus, the role entails collaboration with different operational teams within the company, as well as external brokers, transfer agents, and banking and custody partners, to facilitate global cash or stock transfers.

A role you will love

Responsible for the structured planning, execution and monitoring of tasks and timely completion of all processes assigned to you in line with agreed SLAs. To include, but not limited to:

  • To provide a high quality and effective service to our internal and external customers by delivering assets via various global markets.
  • Respond to a wide variety of customer enquiries providing exceptional levels of customer service, ensuring a high level of accuracy, and adhering to SLA's.
  • Maintain customer accounts following set processes and guidelines.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in building, implementing, and maintaining streamlined operational processes for all asset activity on the EquatePlus platform.
  • Where appropriate, develop detailed documentation with respect at to all asset related processes and in doing so ensure continued operational control and governance over these processes.
  • Gain and maintain strong technical knowledge of all aspects of asset activity and provide expert advice and knowledge in your specialist area to the wider business.
  • Where appropriate, provide regular status updates to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders with respect to asset activity.
  • Solve a wide variety of complex customer queries and system demands providing exceptionally high standards of customer service as the subject matter expert in all aspects of asset delivery.

What will you bring to the role?

Prior customer service experience is advantageous, but the following profile and skill elements are required:

  • Able to display initiative and ownership, whilst understanding limits of own authority
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Energy, Drive and Enthusiasm
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to convey and articulate ideas to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Passionate about customer delivery with evidence of championing and maintaining strong delivery to a large client and customer base.
  • Strong personal and operational organisational skills, able to manage multiple complex activities running in parallel
