A fantastic opportunity to step into a full-time permanent role that will prepare you for a future career with Computershare! We are currently recruiting for an Officer to join our Transaction Services Department. This position will be based in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong.
Transaction Services is a first-line business division with Computershare responsible for servicing of issuers and shareholders and undertaking operational activities such as IPO execution, Corporate Actions such as Rights Issue, Cash Offer and including dividend and payments, Share Movement regarding transfer, allotment and cross-border removal of shares, Corporate Communication and Shareholder maintenance and recovery.

Asset Servicing is one of the key functions operating under Transaction Services responsible for IPO and Corporate Actions related handling.
A role you will love
You will be responsible for the day-to-day processing or verifying corporate action instructions raised by shareholders, listed clients and other departments. You will need to ensure the data is accurate and fulfills the relevant SLAs. You will also participate in IPO projects to process or verify the data within a tight timeline.
- Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Implement and perform UATs from time to time to ensure accuracy of new processes.
- Communicate with both internal and external teams in response to queries on daily processing and provide support in all corporate activities to maintain high quality standards and fulfill SLAs.
- Ensure all the transactions are processed with high accuracy rates and keep track of due dates
- Prepare reports and control files to other departments
- Escalate any abnormal issues or conducts
- Carry out any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Team Head
What will you bring to the role?
You will be a holder of either an Associate or Degree in any disciplines. You will bring at least one year of experience from the banking or financial services industry - should you come from a different industry you are also welcome to apply.
The Officer role requires attention to detail and some evaluative judgement based on best practices and previous experience. You will be expected to respond to and have the ability to resolve problems for the off-shore team as well as identifying and selecting solutions. You would need excellent communication skills to be able to provide clear verbal and written communications in response to queries from other departments and/or give instructions to offshore teams.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-minded
- Proactive, work independently under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word)
