As our Governance Services team grows, we are looking for exceptional talent to join us and help deliver exceptional service to our clients, cementing our reputation in the market as a trusted partner to governance professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at a time of growth and transformation.

As a manager in our Global Governance services, you will lead a team in delivering high-quality entity compliance and corporate support. You will oversee services for a portfolio of key clients while focusing on team leadership, quality client service, and cross-functional collaboration. The role also involves supporting the sales team with pitches and resolving client escalations, ensuring swift resolution and ongoing client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a portfolio of clients ensuring their compliance and governance needs are met to the highest standards.
• Serve as the primary client contact for key clients, delivering strategic advice and maintaining communication on regulatory developments.
• Identify and progress opportunities for revenue growth and cross sell within the portfolio.
• Monitor and oversee client budgets, ensuring projects are resourced appropriately and are running to time and budget.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of compliance professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous growth.
• Ensure team resources are effectively allocated to meet client and project requirements.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure client deliverables are accurate, timely, and compliant with scope of services and service delivery framework.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate client service and operational risks ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal process.
• Work with the sales team to offer insights and enhance the Issuer value proposition.
• Support on marketing facing activities and attend events as required.
• Provide feedback to operations, technology, and product teams to refine service processes.
• Stay updated on international compliance updates and changes in regulations, ensuring both clients and the team remain informed of changes and impact.
• Provide expert advice on complex compliance matters.
• Collaborate with client experience and product teams to ensure technology platforms align with client needs and compliance requirements.
• Provide feedback to shape new tools and services, enhancing client satisfaction and retention.

What will you bring to the role?
• Proven experience of global compliance services within a professional or managed service firm.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the international corporate governance and regulatory compliance landscape.
• Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent client relationship management with a track record of resolving client escalations effectively.
• Experience supporting sales efforts and pitch preparation.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in quality assurance and service review.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, providing input into process improvements.
• Skilled in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with client stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adjusting priorities as needed to meet evolving business needs.
• Skill in navigating complex stakeholder relationships.
