Munich (hybrid)

This is a hybrid position primarily based in Munich. A role you will love

As a Junior Project Manager (Back Office) you will be responsible for the preparation of shareholder meetings for our German and European clients in the registration office area in accordance with predefined best practice processes.

You will communicate with customers, banks, internal project managers and shareholders. You will support the project management with questions regarding the registration portfolio and monitor compliance with the legal requirements of the German Stock Corporation Act.

You will help with the implementation of process adjustments across projects and support colleagues in the realisation of their projects and assist customer contacts with questions about the registration portfolio.

Who are we looking for?

  • We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team and attaches importance to fulfilling legal and procedural requirements with an eye for detail as well as the big picture.
  • As there are often several projects at the same time, you should be able to maintain an overview and prioritise your tasks well.
  • This is a hybrid position, mainly based in Munich. We are committed to your flexibility and wellbeing and our hybrid strategy currently involves three days a week in the office, giving you the opportunity to work remotely for part of your working week.
  • Fluent written and spoken German (C1) and good knowledge of English.

What are your tasks?

  • Independent handling of the registration process for general meetings of stock corporations according to fixed process specifications with the help of in-house applications
  • Telephone and e-mail communication with customers, project managers, banks, shareholder associations and shareholders
  • Supporting other team members with their projects
  • System setup and maintenance
  • Administration of customer users in the IssuerPortal
  • Legitimisation checks, recording, importing and quality assurance of shareholder data in the systems Documentation of special cases
  • Collaboration on internal projects to improve processes, implement new legal regulations and digitalise processes

What will you bring to the role?

  • Fluent written and spoken German (C1)
  • Completed training with work in a team, preferably but not necessarily in the financial services or commercial sector
  • Financial services or commercial experience
  • Quick comprehension, curiosity and a love of learning
  • Detail-orientated and meticulous way of working
  • Strong communication skills
  • High willingness to work on projects in a seasonal business
  • Strong team spirit
