Junior Financial Analyst

Location: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid)

This is a hybrid position primarily based in Warsaw. We're committed to your flexibility and wellbeing and our hybrid strategy currently requires three days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely for some of your working week. You will work in a team responsible for providing expertise in administration and/or accounting and financial reporting of share plans. We seek hands-on team members to work directly with our clients, develop and improve our software and services, and there is potential to take over and manage new responsibilities and to excel and develop within the company.

A role you will love

Data Quality:

  • Ensuring accurate data feeds
  • Collecting work from other teams and building on those transactions, working across the entire scope

Financial Reporting and interaction with clients:

  • Preparation of IFRS and US GAAP compliant accounting and disclosure reports using EquatePyramid, our market leading financial reporting software, exposure to financial directors
  • Valuation of instruments by option pricing models and complex Monte Carlo simulations models
  • You will work together with your Polish team and colleagues in Norway on managing our corporate clients
  • Perform administrative tasks on behalf of clients
  • Assist with education and training of clients and internal teams

System Improvements and IT Development:

  • Cooperating with the team, potential for JavaScript development
  • Participating in workshops

What will you bring to the role?

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, industrial economics or related education
  • Experience from accounting, audit or similar
  • Recent graduates with strong interest in the field are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • High motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong operational, analytical and process understanding
  • Excellent Excel knowledge
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English, oral and written

Desirable skills

  • Knowledge of share plans
  • Knowledge of IFRS 2, IAS 12, IAS 33 or IAS 19 and/or related USGAAP standards
