Location: Edinburgh

Computershare are currently looking to recruit a Head of Quality Engineering to collaborate closely with software development and IT teams within Computershare Technology Services.

A role you will love

As our Head of Quality Engineering, you will work within a highly skilled team in an Agile environment. You will be responsible for developing and executing our quality strategy in support of our product development.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Manage the activities of the team to ensure consistent, rapid delivery of quality solutions.
  • Coach and mentor team members in support of continuous improvement and career development.
  • Build a high performing QE team.
  • Implement consistent tooling and methodology within the team.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, conduct research, and apply new techniques to the delivery of software.

What will you bring to the role?

You will play a pivotal role in growing our culture of engineering excellence thus making sure our organization's digital operations are secure and efficient. You will also be responsible for implementing a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • Proven ability to influence and motivate (global, geographically dispersed) teams to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Previous experience in an IT leadership role.
  • Experience in technology delivery for one or more complex products in an Agile environment.
  • Proven ability to be highly collaborative and work effectively in a global environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders.
