The Governance Services Junior Consultant supports the day to day delivery of Global and domestic (NL) managed service and advisory engagements and projects. The Governance Services Junior Consultant role will have a direct impact on the delivery of our agreed service levels with our customers. The quality of service provided will reflect on the effectiveness of the role holder, team and department. The role holder will be required to co-ordinate and self-manage an assigned quota of client enquiries, ensuring that quality standards and time constraints are continuously delivered to a high standard

Main Duties:
- Support the delivery of managed service and advisory client engagements, involving the delivery of statutory compliance requirements for NL private limited companies, as well as the delivery of corporate governance and compliance requirements for companies listed on the Euronext. (60% of role)
- Advise domestic and international clients on NL listing requirements, statutory compliance, governance and transaction related matters. (5% of role)
• Establish and maintain client relationships. (5% of role)
- Develop and maintain subject matter technical knowledge and service delivery templates, processes, tools and materials. (10% of role)
- Support client relationship management activities. (5% of role)
- Contribute to a variety of projects and initiatives as and when required. (5% of role)
- Support business management and operational matters as and when required. (5% of role)
- Administer the on-boarding of new clients in accordance with company policies and processes. (5% of role)
What will you bring to the role
• You will operate within defined technical and operational procedures, which require proficient knowledge and awareness on how to apply them.
• Knowledge for the role will be acquired through on the job training and experience Strong written Dutch and English, numeracy, analytical and comprehension skills.
• Advanced IT skills (incl. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and preferable a minimum of experience of using legal entity management technology.
• Clearly communicates verbally and/or in writing with other internal departments and external contacts.
• The projects assigned here will range from basic to medium complexity.
• At least one (1) years of previous company secretarial and corporate governance experience within professional services or industry, ideally with exposure to listed companies.
• You require attention to detail and some evaluative judgment based on best practice and previous experience.
• You expected to respond to and resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience, which will be guided by clear policy and procedure.
• You will require developed communication skills to be able to provide clear verbal and/or written communications in response to client queries.
• Queries received will range from basic to medium in complexity. Will also require tact and diplomacy when dealing with challenging clients, complaints or sensitive issues.
• Where supporting continuous improvement or project related activity the role holder will need to clearly and effectively communicate across teams within same department.
• Experienced at building effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Organised with an eye for detail and experience of delivering to tight deadlines.
• Resilient and composed under pressure, proactive, self-motivated, take ownership/responsibility for own work
