A role you will love
We are looking for a talented and passionate Global Design System Manager to join our Design Studio. You will be leading and supporting design projects and initiatives through the Design System tech stack and governance processes. This hands-on role which involves primary and secondary research, reporting/analytics data-informed insights, and facilitating training workshops to deliver great experiences and product designs.
Your role will be to shape the user experience and visual consistency across all our products and platforms. You will be responsible for defining, evolving, and maintaining our global design system, ensuring that it aligns with our brand, meets the needs of cross-functional teams, and scales as our product ecosystem grows.
Other key responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, front-end engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the adoption and seamless integration of the Design System.
• Champion the use of our Global Design System across teams, advocating for best practices and ensuring alignment with business goals and brand standards.
• Track, measure, and report on the usage, adoption, and performance of our Global Design System components to ensure continuous improvement.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure the Global Design System scalability as products and platforms evolve, while maintaining consistency and brand integrity.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all Design System-related inquiries, providing expertise and resolving issues as they arise.
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and presentations to educate and onboard teams to the Design System.
• Maintain our Global Design System documentation, ensuring it is clear, comprehensive, and accessible.
What will you bring to the role
We are seeking a proactive, and driven individual; someone who is passionate about Technology Leadership. You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills, coupled with a global mindset that allows you to work on a global scale with ease. Your strong design knowledge, coupled with your experience, will be instrumental in your success in this role.
Some other key skills you'll have:
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to articulate and communicate a clear design vision
• A proven track record of interaction at a high standard with senior management, product teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in design tools like Figma, Token Studio, as well as familiarity in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and React.
• Professional experience in Interaction Design
• Experience in building and scaling a Design System
• Experience with UX/UI design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Token Studio, Zeroheight and MIRO)
• Experience working closely with front-end React engineers and understanding how design systems integrate with React components.
• Experience creating adaptive and responsive designs
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
