Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Full-Stack Software Developer (Cloud/Web) to join our Computershare Issuer Services (CIS) team. Our CIS team creates leading-edge software products that enable, engages, and delight our internal and external users, and especially our customers.

A role you will love

In this role, you will operate within an Agile squad to design, construct, deploy, and support great software products, almost all of which are deployed and delivered using Azure cloud that are deployed globally.

You will mostly operate within your assigned squad, but you will often collaborate with engineers in other squads in Issuer Services who are working on the same or similar products to enable great application integration and responsible software reuse.

The software products are mostly Azure cloud based. Some of the full-stack technologies you'll use include Transact-SQL on SQL in the cloud, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, C#, .NET, and React with Typescript and NextJS.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Designing or assisting with design of cloud-based software, creating modern, accurate, and easy-to-use software products that meet business requirements.
  • Constructing software using appropriate technologies and tech stack to meet the defined business requirements.
  • Deploying software using Azure DevOps to support continuous integration (CI).
  • Supporting software assigned to the squad for support with timely fixes based on priority and severity of issues discovered.

What will you bring to the role?

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the proven ability to work effectively in a team including adaptability to team practices, policies and standards. You also have strong attention to detail to understand designs, design patterns and coding paradigms. To help advance prevailing design patterns and paradigms, having imagination and inventiveness will also be key.

You'll also bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the following technologies:
    • C#
    • Modern version(s) of .NET framework
    • Transact-SQL DML and DDL on SQL Server
    • React using Typescript and the NextJS framework
    • Azure DevOps or similar build-release-configure environment.

  • Certifications in React, .NET, C#, Azure, and Azure DevOps
