A role you will love.

The Financial Administrator Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of high-quality service that meets service level expectations. The Financial Administrator Specialist works closely with their Team Lead to ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met. This role is also expected to assist the team lead in the supervision of assigned staff and occasionally perform administration tasks related to those staff such as: daily timekeeping, performance, and attendance tracking, and provide mentoring to employees. The Financial Administrator Specialist position for which you have applied is for the CDD team. Once the task is completed and customer outreach package is received, conduct screenings to identify whether there is negative news, financial crimes, OFAC sanctions and foreign politically exposed person or disposition items that are not relevant to our customer or their related parties and owners.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • To Perform Due diligence reviews on potential clients of the firm in accordance with every policy and procedure.
  • Navigate public databases and internal systems to identify and verify due diligence information.
  • Identify missing CD documentation and remediate as appropriate.
  • Conduct screening checks on clients and undertake follow-up research as required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines enough demanding environment.
  • Maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail and substantial knowledge and understanding of anti-money laundering verification process and should understand identifications, screenings, and sanctions.
  • Analyze client data, documentation, and negative news in order to determine client risk profile as established under the global KYC procedures.
  • Follow the instructions on work from team lead.
  • Mentor new team members, promote team and process growth, and be involved in special projects supporting Corporate Trust initiatives.

What will you bring to the role.

  • Bachelor's/ master's degree (B.com/MBA) or equivalent; 4-6 years of experience in multinational business environments in India.
  • The ideal candidate should have Corporate Trust experience, knowledge of transfer and at least 3 years of customer service experience, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to interpret and comprehend complex legal documents, high attention to detail and accuracy, organizational and prioritization.
  • The Financial Administrator Specialist role requires a good understanding of work routines and procedures used to support the CCT staff or previous experience supporting similar operational procedures. These routines and procedures will vary for each Financial Administrator Specialist.
  • The role will operate within defined technical and operational procedures, which require proficient knowledge and awareness on how to apply them. Knowledge for the role will be acquired through on the job training and experience.
  • Potential candidate should have a good understanding of how the wider team works together to successful achieve their team and wider department goals and objectives.
