The CTO group is responsible for planning, designing, building and running technology services. The CTO teams span architecture, infrastructure, service operations, compliance, and technical support. We ensure that colleagues around the world have access to the technology and agreed service levels that they need to take care of their clients and their clients' shareholders, employees, and customers.

A role you will love

The role provides leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks required to develop Computershare's Network architecture. They create deliverables including target state guidance, guardrails, adoption and migration plans, to enable the business strategy and outcomes.

Working in the Global Architecture team the role works closely with, Infrastructure and development teams, Security and Operations functions to provide guidance and direction to the Business Line CIOs and the wider Computershare Design Community. The role has a key focus around partnering with our Global Security team.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Owning the network architecture guard-rails, reference architecture, principles and patterns that guide the wider organisation.
  • Providing organisational leadership and guidelines to promote the development and exploitation of enterprise network systems in the organisation.
  • Leading the development of network architectures for complex solutions, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external, and internal customers.
  • Working with compliance, risk and security functions to pro-actively work through and address network issues and blockers ahead of projects implementations and client issues and concerns.
  • Work closely with Security, infrastructure and global development teams to ensure our network is secure, scalable in line with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure and support the building of strong relationships with stakeholders and business units to fully understand business needs and provide strategic consultation.

What will you bring to the role?

The Enterprise Architect - Network domain is accountable for leading and enabling our Network strategy in close collaboration with our Global Security team.

Required Experience:

  • Significant experience in an Enterprise Architect role in a wider Architecture team.
  • Significant experience in leading a Network Architecture team.
  • Expert experience in designing and implementation of a diverse range of Network solutions and services including Cloud, On-Prem and Network Security.
  • Experience in software defined networking through Micro segmentation.
  • Demonstratable experience in working with global vendors.
  • Demonstratable experience in the implementation of Enterprise Architecture Artefacts, architecture process and governance.
  • Ability to present technical solution design options and justification to all levels of the organization, as well as manage expectations when balancing solution alternatives against business constraints and technological realities.
