Dividend Specialist - 11 month FTC

Location Dublin, Lake Drive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dividend Specialist to join the Dividend Department here at Computershare based in the Dublin Office.

As a Dividend Specialist you will be responsible for the processing and payment of various dividend events, encashment tax reporting and projects, as assigned by the Corporate Services Manager on behalf of our clients.

  • Encashment Tax Reporting
  • Cash with Options
  • Employee Plans
  • Ad-hoc payment events

A role you will love

Reporting into the Corporate Services Management team you will become a specialist at a variety of tasks that are instrumental to the continued success of the department.

You will be liaising with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally regarding various dividend related issues as well as regularly communicating to your clients to ensure their dividend needs and expectations are fully met at all times.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning various dividends and creating timetables
  • Working regularly with Excel and Word for the production of dividend files
  • Provide statistics when required for billing purposes
  • Reconciling and balancing Encashment Tax figures throughout each calendar year
  • Submitting Encashment Tax returns to the Irish Revenue Commissioners for each calendar year

What will you bring to the role?

Total commitment to customer service and a flexible approach to working patterns is a must for this position as well as the ability to work to deadlines whilst working accurately under pressure.

Teamwork is an important core value within this department so you must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate well with your colleagues and be prepared to help others should the need arise.

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure during the busy dividend season
  • Good organisational, planning and time management skills
  • PC literate - an intermediate level of Microsoft Excel and Word
