A role you will love

As one of our Digital Value Stream Delivery and Transformation Leads, you will be leading and managing the development and delivery of customer and client-facing digital applications, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.

You will be part of a digital transformation programme that will deliver industry leading products and features, including:

  • Digitising Operations and Call Centre transactions (e.g., onboarding, servicing, sales, transfers)
  • Building state of the art mobile applications for customers
  • B2C mobile and browser channels in Financial Services
  • B2B Client applications such as investor portals, applications, or new channels in Financial Services
  • Digital identity and authentication (e.g., MFA, social login)
  • Leading edge AI and data applications

The role involves having a deep understanding of designing, implementing and managing end-to-end customer journeys in financial services and delivering multi-channel experiences to our clients and customers.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for the value stream, aligned with the overall transformation programme
  • Captain a diverse team of experts, guiding them to develop and launch stellar customer and client-facing digital applications.
  • Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of digital application projects within the value stream.
  • Managing the project lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to development, testing, and deployment.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation within the value stream, encouraging the exploration of new technologies and methodologies.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units, and external partners.

What will you bring to the role?

As you've probably gathered by now, we are looking for somebody with a real passion for leading and delivering complex digital transformations, ideally in financial services (banking, asset management, brokering or issuer services).

With this role being a key part of our Digital Transformation, we are looking for someone with strong analytical skills alongside the ability to think creatively and outside the box to develop innovative solutions to challenging issues. As this is a global role you will also be highly experienced in managing and building excellent stakeholder relationships with people at all levels.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • Deep understanding of customer and client identity, end-to-end customer journeys in financial services, and multi-channel experiences in financial services
  • An understanding of modern ways of working such as Agile and/or SAFe
  • A solid understanding of the industry landscape, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
  • Comprehensive understanding of key transformation outcomes such as revenue growth, cost reduction, customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with digital development platforms and frameworks (e.g. JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React, Angular, etc)
  • An understanding of cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
