Location: Bristol, Hybrid.

This will be a 12-month fixed term contract.

A role you will love

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Development Manager to help us grow the team in term of processes and skillset while managing the day-to-day activities ensuring work is completed correctly, on time and in accordance with clients' requirements.

Other key responsibilities:

• Team Leadership and Management - Lead, coach, and mentor a team of developers. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
• Technical Oversight - In collaboration with the Technical Architect team, oversee solution design, architecture, and coding standards. Ensure adherence to best practices in software development. Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality code delivery
• Process improvement and Quality control - Implement and refine development processes and methodologies. Promote the adoption of agile practices and continuous improvement. Contribute to our quality review and improvement processes
• Resource management - Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands. Plan for team growth and participate in recruitment activities.
• Delivery - Ensure the team effectively supports and deliver projects and tasks.
• Coordinate and collaboration - Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of development efforts.

What will you bring to the role

We are seeking a proactive, and driven individual; a person who has extensive experience leading and delivering client solutions.

Some other key skills you'll have:

• Excellent communication & presentation skill
• Experience on the multi-channel communication industry is an advantage
• The ability to handle any situation with confidence and conviction.
• Experience in delivery technology driven solutions (or similar).
• Deep knowledge and experience of creating software solution, business processes, cost models, business/technical methodologies.
• Ability to manage professionals and other managers.
• Must have demonstrable experience leading teams and initiatives in a technical business environment that delivers new software enabled products and services to end user customers.
