Computershare Outsourcing (a JSE regulated entity) is the division within Computershare responsible for providing back-office administrative services to Stockbrokers. The role is expected to engage with the internal Corporate Action teams, clients, as well as external CSDP's. We also engage with other business units such as Compliance, HR, and IT. The role operates at a local level. There are various critical time constraints, risks and regulatory consequences of the work the role carries out.

A role you will love
The Corporate Actions Officer is responsible for the processing of all corporate action events, dividends, letters of rep and proxies for various stockbrokers within the required timeframes and according to Directive FL of the JSE rules and regulations.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Administer corporate action activities
- Reconciliation of Corporate action accounts
- Maintain client base
- Manage controls and procedures
What will you bring to the role?
- Grade 12
- Degree or 3 years post matric qualification (advantageous)
- Business Sense
- Knowledge of Financial Services Industry
- Understand & apply company strategy
- Client Handling Skills
- Planning & Organizing
- Systems:
- PC Literacy (SCRIP, Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Problem solving skills
- Time Management
