The Content Writer/Manager will hold a global role to build and execute on content marketing plans to support the EMEA Issuer Services business growth objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality content for future and current clients, implementing and managing an on-page SEO strategy, and strengthening the Computershare and Georgeson brand.
A role you will love
The role holder will be responsible for developing and delivering on persona-based content plans that can be leveraged across market segments, campaigns, and programs. This role will partner with regional issuer services leadership, relationship managers, business development, sales, product, group marketing, and other key stakeholders to develop content created from inception to final publication across multiple marketing communication channels.
The role holder will be responsible for owning the EMEA Issuer content strategy from conception to completion, including writing content for all formats and mediums, with emphasis on writing compelling, perona-based content and maximizing the impact of SEO for our website properties. The Content Writer/Manager will be results-focused, using qualitative and quantitative insights to optimize performance.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute content plans aligned with EMEA issuer services growth objectives, targeting specific market segments, product/service launches, and marketing programs.
- Create original copy and provide editorial support, ensuring consistent brand voice, appropriate length, and multi-purpose use across various media (e.g., web, print, social).
- Collaborate with marketing program owners and content strategists to integrate and repurpose content, maximizing reach and impact across campaigns.
- Utilize audience insights, personas, keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance data to inform content strategy and build an effective editorial calendar.
- Partner with marketing colleagues to leverage existing resources (e.g., group overviews, statistics, ESG information) and best practices for content creation and distribution.
- Contribute to SEO/SEM initiatives by conducting keyword research, optimizing content with relevant keywords and metadata, and tracking/reporting on content performance using analytics platforms.
What will you bring to the role?
You are a Marketing expert with five+ years of experience with marketing and sales content creation and promotion, ideally in the financial services industry. Your ideas and passion for content will be pivotal to engage audiences and crafting compelling narratives. You have myriad content examples to showcase your experience building content plans that support business goals and then writing, managing and promoting the content to get desired target audience results. Content marketing certifications and or completed courses is preferred. You also understand how search algorithms work and how to analyze performance metrics, have significant on-page SEO experience and have working knowledge of one or more of the below industry tools:
- Google Analytics 4
- Looker Studio
- Ahref, SEMrush, Spyfu
- Google Search Console
- Google Trends
- Lighthouse,
- Screaming Frog,
- Moz
You will bring dedication to the role and will be hands-on and collaborative whilst having a flexible approach to oversee and execute multiple projects simultaneously with aggressive deadlines. You are comfortable managing a multiple projects to completion in a large, matrixed organization.
You will also have experience creating and promoting content in non-English language markets.
