A role you will love

As a Compliance Analyst you will be responsible for the daily analysis of regulatory announcements. You will be able to communicate relevant and timely information, ensuring delivery is clear and concise; these updates will go to local, regional and global committees, so accuracy and attention to detail are key.

Other key responsibilities.

  • Analyse publications, speeches and other key announcements from the FCA, the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and other organisations impacting CIS.
  • Prepare targeted communications to senior management and other key stakeholders
  • Produce reports for the likes of CIS Audit Committee, Operational Risk Forum, Conduct Forum
  • Collate and analyse data to spot trends and patterns
  • Support project work and complete ad-hoc tasks

What will you bring to the role

We're looking for someone who is driven, and enthusiastic. You will enjoy a challenge, look for process improvements, and have meticulous attention to detail. As a Compliance Analyst, you will hold a good understanding of the UK regulatory environment.

Some other key skills you'll have;

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Good understanding/ knowledge of the FCA handbook
  • Awareness of the UK's Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing legislation, sanctions regime and relevant industry guidance as issued by the Joint Money Laundering Steering Group (JMLSG).
