The Business Analyst will work closely with the Product Manager and development Scrum team to deliver Insights, a data and reporting tool for clients.

Insights is one of our key product initiatives and is a step-change in our offering, to stay ahead of market needs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to elicit requirements & acceptance criteria to ensure the business objectives and product vision is being delivered
  • Understand complex issues, identify root causes, analyse options, develop recommendations and deliver solutions which result in business growth
  • Develop requirements, break down business problems into epics, features and user stories and manage through change control
  • Produce high quality process flows
  • Present analysis and process reviews to stakeholder and project groups
  • Facilitate and manage workshops and meetings with business and technology
  • Identify risks and track through to resolution, utilise tools such as Jira to manage tasks, producing project status updates and ensuring issues and risks are communicated to stakeholders appropriately
  • Support business testing to ensure readiness for change (e.g. UAT, Training, documentation etc.)
  • Implement process improvements and system deployments

What will you bring to the role?

We're looking for someone who is a self-starter, dynamic and capable of working independently managing multiple priorities. It is essential that you are a proven Business Analyst with experience with reporting platforms, data analytics and visualisation tools.

You are passionate about using data to drive actions, having a strong track record of driving change in global organisations and be confident working in a fast-paced environment, able to overcome challenges quickly.

You will be delivery focused with excellent stakeholder management skills and work effectively with the business, product and technology teams.

Other relevant experience:

  • Ideally from a global or financial services environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively tailor communication to different audiences, i.e. technical/non-technical
  • Experience working within an Agile environment
  • Product or project experience that shows your ability to deliver against a plan
  • Change Management - has a positive, pragmatic, and collaborative approach
  • Understands cost / benefit analysis and financial impact
