A role you will love

As an Application Support Analyst, you will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, supporting day-to-day requirements of our business units/clients, providing analysis and recommendations on existing technical solutions, playing a key part in technical projects and key initiatives, and ensuring a quality service is provided to our clients.

This is a hands-on IT focused position, for someone who enjoys working within a fast-paced IT department. You will be responsible for supporting applications across a wide range of business units within the financial sector. The role requires an individual who strives under pressure and can meet demanding SLA's and deadlines.

Some of the key responsibilities:

  • Issue debugging and Incident management
  • Managing problems and delivering continual improvement
  • Perform data and system analysis
  • Successful management of change into production
  • Managing risk within agreed acceptance levels
  • Facilitate releases and system upgrades into live systems
  • Ensure system stability and management of live and UAT environments
  • Monitor systems and act on alerts and system events
  • Active involvement in Service Transition from development teams

What will you bring to the role?

We're seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, intuitive and driven IT professional. Someone who is committed to increasing customer satisfaction, breaks down the problem in front of them and looks for continuous improvements.

Some other key skills that you'll have:

  • Significant experience in a relevant Business or IT related role
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Experience of ITIL practices
  • Strong communication skills and experience with managing key stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience of the banking industry and payment technologies, preferably Swift
