We are excited to offer a 12-month opportunity for an Administrative Case Handler to join our Dispute Resolutions Team, managing cases for the Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS) on behalf of the UK Government. This role is integral to our team's success.

A role you will love

You'll be responsible for logging and progressing cases by gathering evidence in line with the Deposit Protection Scheme terms and conditions. You'll manage cases individually, summarising evidence even in situations where parties have not met scheme deadlines.

Your role will involve various administrative tasks, compiling evidence, and making payments to relevant parties concerning end-of-tenancy disputes. Key tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Progressing each dispute case by gathering evidence and compiling hard/e-files for adjudicators.
  • Issuing adjudicator resolutions to involved parties and making payments accordingly.
  • Accurately logging each dispute transaction, including emails and statutory declaration notices, and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Ensuring transaction accuracy to facilitate smooth dispute file handling and reduce losses.
  • Maintaining customer focus, quality, and regulatory compliance in all activities to encourage customer retention.

This hybrid role offers a Monday to Friday, 35-hour work week with a salary of £22,500. You must live within a reasonable commuting distance from our Bristol office on Bridgewater Road, BS13 8AE.
