The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

The Sales Support Senior Associate provides a full range of business-critical support - including local sales, marketing, operations, and administrative support to multiple local EA Distribution stakeholders with little guidance. The incumbent partners with their Sales Support Associate teammates to support regional leaders, sales managers and frontline Sales Reps and others. Monitors the achievement of regions production, operational, and employee engagement goals. Serves as a mentor to other sales support associates and supports the teams development through shadowing and sharing of best practices.

Responsibilities

Supports sales reps and sales managers with the preparation and successful execution of local marketing opportunities of varying complexity, including on-sites, milk runs, community marketing, charity events, etc. Supports the tracking and manual follow up of sales activities to assist management in impacting current results or to improve planning and productivity for future events. Supports multiple branch offices` communication of metrics by updating and organizing routine information for inclusion in huddle boards. Prepares charts, graphs, or other presentations of varying complexity. Identifies data trends or potential issues requiring additional analysis. Runs key performance indicator data using Excel, Microstrategy, and other Company systems and communicates results to appropriate stakeholders via various mediums (e-mail, newsletters, PowerPoint, etc.). Makes suggestions to improve the value and efficiency of the work. Supports Region and Branch Sales Promotion events including local contests, coordination of best practices, and the coordination of manager led sales training events. Provides support to compliance-related work, including application compliance, data accuracy, binder control and other compliance related controls as needed by sales manager. Coordinates and supports branch office meetings, events, and branch-wide contests with duties such as arranging conference rooms, and catering as needed. Supports multiple branch offices with various office management support including AP requests, equipment inventory, supply expenditures monitoring, administrative support, and other duties as requested. May provide training or support to others.

Qualifications

  • Effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Ability to apply administrative, analytical, and communication skills and ability to acquire a better understanding of the business operations
  • Ability to use software applications (e.g., MS Office) to create exhibits, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, marketing materials etc.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to achieve results
  • Ability to effectively interact with Field management
  • Preferably at least 1 year of related experience in a Sales Support role with an emphasis on organizational, analytical or marketing functions
  • Proficient in Salesforce with ability to support sales representative lead optimization and branch manager reporting
