The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

The Field Sales Support Supervisor manages a team of 4-6 direct reports to provide a full range of sales, marketing, operational and administrative support to multiple Comparion Insurance Agency stakeholders. The Supervisor and team support Regional Manager, Sales Managers, and Sales Agents in achieving the area's production, revenue, operational and employee engagement goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Hires, supervises, and evaluates the work of Field Sales Support Associates; sets objectives, assigns and prioritizes work, provides coaching and feedback, conducts performance appraisals and manages performance as needed.
  • Individually or through direct reports, supports Sales Managers and Sales Agents with the development of customer-facing sales and marketing materials. Plans and executes local marketing events of varying complexity.
  • Individually or through direct reports, retrieves, manipulates and interprets key performance indicator data (e.g. sales activities) using Excel, Micro strategy and other Company systems. Organizes and communicates this data to stakeholders (via email, newsletters, PowerPoint, etc) to improve activity effectiveness and new business production.
  • Supports recruiting efforts by local management and Talent Acquisition teams to source and hire top sales talent.
  • Coordinates and leads the development and execution of all area-wide meetings, contests, events, trips and promotional events by arranging conference space, hotel accommodations, and catering as needed.
  • Acts as needed to ensure that all business-critical sales and marketing, operational and office management support needs are met by the Sales Office Support team.

Qualifications

  • Highly effective interpersonal, organization, communication, presentation, and project management skills required to resolve most problems.
  • Ability to exercise judgment, manage competing priorities, and work with minimal direction.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel, advanced skills in PowerPoint and OneNote preferred.
  • Knowledge of business operations as typically acquired through 2 to 4 years of office management, marketing and/or operational work experience.
