- Strategic Development: Develop innovative strategies for materials planning and SIOP to optimize resource utilization and exceed customer delivery expectations.
- Process Standardization: Establish standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP to ensure consistency and efficiency across operations.
- Market Analysis: Identify short and long-term market trends and demand indicators to inform planning decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product development leaders and sales/marketing teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and align planning efforts with business objectives.
- Capacity Planning: Plan capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations to ensure seamless production processes.
- Production Planning: Develop monthly production volume planning based on business forecasts, inventory positions, customer orders, and capacity parameters.
- Performance Tracking: Track key metrics to drive results and continuous improvement, ensuring operational excellence at every stage.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Address any issues related to supply chain disruptions, quality concerns, or lead time changes.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Develop processes and plans to improve supply capabilities, driving efficiency and reliability across the supply chain.
- Metric Establishment: Establish clear metrics to measure progress through process improvements, ensuring accountability and transparency.
- Inventory Management: Implement and maintain inventory management systems to better monitor and control inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize excess or obsolete materials.
- Global Alignment: Support global alignment on commodity forecasts, supply, and demand management in collaboration with other Material Planners across different MRO site.

- Typically requires a degree unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
- Prior materials planning experience in the aerospace industry or a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with Supply Chain, Scheduling, and/or Production Planning processes.
- Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems with emphasis on material modules.
- Working experience in Microsoft Office programs, in particular excel.
- Working experience with reporting tools, such as PowerBi/Tableau
- Working experience with the practical application of continuous improvement principles
