As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer within the Simulation, Training, and Solutions (STS) business area you will help develop and build simulators and training systems for both military and commercial customers. This role will give you an opportunity to work with cutting edge technology and bringing real world applications and tools to life that help support our warfighters. Devices range in complexity from desktop training all the way up to high fidelity weapon system and full-flight training systems including full visual, motion, and simulator interoperability.There is a wide variety of work to be done and this role is far from repetitive, rarely doing the same work twice in one week. - YOU will be responsible for the configuration, administration, building, deployment and maintaining Windows/Linux operating systems environment.
- YOU will be responsible for configuring and maintaining servers, workstations, network devices and printers in accordance with DoD STIGs.
- YOU will document any processes which need to be followed to successfully work within our computing environment.
- YOU will conduct and remediate vulnerability scans for all accredited devices.
- YOU will Install, configure, maintain, and support network equipment including firewalls, routers, switches, DNS and DHCP.

- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Certification for DoD 8570 compliance, CISSP or Comptia Security + CE,
- Minimum 5 years' hands on experience remediating Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scan results.
- Minimum 5 years' hands on experience configuring McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (McAfee ePO) and/or McAfee Endpoint Security (McAfee ENS).
- Minimum 5 years hands on experience with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and YUM updates
- Fluent knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 security controls, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Minimum 3 years' hands on experience with Virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware.
- Minimum 3 years' hands on experience with Cisco IOS for switch/router/IPS configurations.
