Job Title: EDD Team Manager
Overview:
As an Enhanced Due Diligence (“EDD”) Team Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the specific team. You will be responsible to utilize resources and exhibit ownership of the team’s EDD operations and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adequate capacity planning/workload prioritization across the EDD Team relative to identify targets of average handle time, quality (policy and procedures), SLAs, Regulatory Commitments and customer and business priorities
- Ensures implementation and adherence to audit and compliance requirements and proactively highlights potential issues
- Act as an escalation point for issues that may require clarification of EDD policy, procedure and process
- Drives improvements, identifies process inefficiencies, client experience improvements and improves forecast accuracy
- Coordinates corrective actions arising from the Quality controls and identifies needs for training & development of the EDD Team, in collaboration with the Quality Control & L&D
Qualifications:
- B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent
- 6+ years’ experience working in EDD Operations roles for Financial Services/Fin-Tech Sector
- Knowledge of KYC/CDD/EDD checks, BSA/AML laws/guidelines, aware of specific information/documentation required to fulfill EDD checks (e.g. Employment, Proof of Residency, Source of Funds, Source of Wealth etc.)
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication (verbal and written) skills in English to speak to internal stakeholders and customers
- Experience working with Google Sheet, Google Doc, Excel, Word
- Flexible and adaptable to the evolving needs of a high-growth and fast paced organization environment
- Ready to support in 24*7 environment
- Organized with a High level of attention to detail
Preferred Qualification:
- 8+ years’ experience working in EDD Operations roles for Financial Services/Fin-Tech Sector
- Managed AML/KYC Operations Team of 30-40+ Agents.
- Relevant Compliance certification such as Anti-Money Laundering Specialist Certification (“ACAMS”)
- Specific experience with cryptocurrency products as a user and / or experience working in the digital currency industry
