As Bid Manager, you'll be central in helping us win new customers and expand into new markets by managing the preparation, orchestration, and follow-up of customer RFXs from around the world. In this role you will be working closely with cross-functional teams at Cognite, engaging with different internal stakeholders to drive the RFx response process and coordinating with different teams to prepare high-quality responses to RFx within the required timeline. You'll work closely with Subject Matter Experts and internal stakeholders across multiple departments to strategize and position the bid response to meet the customer's expectations whilst being in line with Cognite products & go-to-market strategy. You will be leading the preparation of RFx's response by using our bid management tool (RFPIO), crafting content for customer-winning responses, and leading the end-to-end bid management process internally and externally. Additionally, as a part of the bid management team, it is expected for you to share collective responsibility ensuring the content of the RFPIO answer library is accurate, and up to date. We expect that your written and spoken English is at a high level. This role reports to the Global Sales Operations team and is located at our modern office at Fornebu. Responsibilities Lead and drive the end-to-end bid management process including the preparation of RFx responses submissions. Organize and structure the assigned cross-functional teams Lead and drive the clarifications process with the customer during the RFX - procurement process. Lead and drive the internal stakeholders' management; including the correct stakeholders and the correct level in a timely manner Be responsible for the bid submission (final preparation including upload/packaging/posting of bid submissions). Support the review process of the RFx answer library in RFPIO (our RFx management tool) - cooperating with subject matter experts. Enrich, update, and audit RFPIO answer library - notifying/assigning the content owner to act accordingly in a timely manner. Success Factor to thrive in this role Master degree or relevant work experience in Bid Management/Project Management experience in software implementation projects or any of the vertical domain; Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Manufacturing. A results-oriented individual who thrives in working in a fast-paced environment and maintains a calm approach when operating under pressure. Worked in an international team and have a high degree of cultural awareness. A self-sufficient character able to meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. An ability to thrive with limited structure. Attention to detail: thorough in accomplishing tasks through concern for all areas involved, no matter how small. Comfortable working in Google Suite, MS Office, and RFPIO. Ability to work with technical concepts (ie. data management). Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Why Cognite?
