- Pay: $18.00 / hour
- After 90 days pay increases to $19.00 / hour

Position Summary:
The Controls Technician monitors the control systems of the company's automated equipment. This position oversees the PLC programming, controls systems and Human-Machine Interface (HMI). This position works with electrical components, wiring and electrical codes and performs troubleshooting techniques. The Controls Technician adheres to the company's safety standards.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's)
- Maintain Custom Operator Interface Screens (HMI's)
- Operate diagnostic equipment including meters, i.e., AC/DC Voltage, Ohmmeter, megohmmeter, power supply/control transformer, etc.
- Maintain the industrial process control systems, i.e., Rockwell ControlLogix, RSLogix SLC 500, PLC-5, etc.
- Support Controls Specialists by answering Controls' service calls
- Order parts and tools for Controls team
- Create and prioritize Controls' work orders
- Maintain Controls Document Library and Schematics, i.e., digital and written manuals
- Collaborate with Controls Technician Support team
- Stay current with technical expertise and business knowledge
- Execute special projects/initiatives as needed
- Other projects or duties as assigned
